Unmasked

I keep fooling myself With each mask that I wear This burden I must bear I'm stuck in disguise With all these white lies All these white lies I am ready... for whatever may come around Everything I do is for The dearest to my heart But I often have these thoughts That I'm just playing my roles Like an actor in the theater of life With no way for a freedom's cry Every now and then I try to put them away I scratch them hard till I bleed But I feel that's what I need From inside I have to fight my way out Through the pain till I see the glimmer of light I keep fooling myself With all these white lies all these white lies Mesmerized... by the way of life That everyone of us Have to play our parts How many more fights await me? On this path I walk persistently How many more cuts will I take?
